Many moons ago when we still lived on Craven Rd. in Toronto, I decided that I was going to do a summer of Toronto Gardens. So Fire and I, Leo was not yet born, headed out into the beach, with all of my art supplies in a grocery buggy and we would find a garden that pleased both of us stop, for hours at a time, work on a painting, of the garden then take it home and finish it. Here is one of our garden pieces, it is mixed media on paper. In the heat of the summer, I remember it being around this time of year when the heat had set in and everything is beautiful and bursting with life.
